It's a  beer brewing trick, to incubate some yeast from a beer you like in 
order to  grow more organisms with which to inoculate another batch of beer. 
I bet she  could inoculate some EBM with the L. reuteri drops, hold it at 
warm room  temperature or slightly higher (maybe 100F) for 12 hours to let 
the organisms  multiply, then refrigerate the batch, giving her babe 
droppersful as she would  the BioGaia. When she nears the end of a batch, she can use 
some of that batch  to inoculate another vial of breastmilk. 
~~~  Like beer, or maybe  a sourdough starter kinda? Interesting  idea.
