Sorry, I was not 100% on my last post about hirschsprungs...when I said
atonic segment, I meant to say a noninervated segment of bowel, so that
there is an area of constriction in the colon, usually with an enlarged,
stretched out piece of bowel proximate to it.-Anne Eglash
