I'm posting for Sylvia Delaney, IBCLC, lactation coordinator at Long Island
Jewish, who is without a computer and very anxious to thank all Lactnet
members who were concerned about the commericial that advertised that "Long
Island Jewish hospital provided warm milk for new babies." Sylvia states that
the lactation coordinators were not aware of the ad which was a mistake and
has now been pulled. The hospital, part of the Norther Shore Health Care
System, has high rates of breastfeeding and a comprehensive lactation program
in most of the members hospitals. She thanks all of you who were concerned
