Dear Kim,
I am a Nsy nurse and IBCLC at a level II in Texas.  Most of our mothers have
epidurals.  Most of our staff has been around long enough for us to remember
natural CB and can compare the effects on the babies.  We feel the epidurals
have a significant effect on breastfeeding.  We can't seem to prove it and
our anesthesia team will not even listen.  We would love some concrete
evidence.  Please let me know what your research turns up  or how you plan to
prove this and we might be able to assist you with your research in our own
area.
