Child Health and Development, World Health Organisation, Geneva, 1998 (no ISBN).
In the UK this is available from the BFI UK office and from ACE Graphics.  I
don't know about the USA -- anyone?

This summarises the research done on each of the ten steps and for the above,
look under Step 4.  This gathers all of the international research, but
identifies the country of origin of each study, so you can highlight the US
stuff if that is better for your case.

Does BFI USA publish some kind of summary of findings in the USA?  I imagine
that, like for BFI UK this is a frequent request to them.
