I do not know the theoretical dose but have some comments. How much does the
2 y.o.nursling breastfeed? How much milk does he possibly ingest? There is a
wide variation at this age. How much of his total diet is the breastmilk?
Could the mother monitor her serum levels and even her milk levels? If the
peak of the med is known (is this even relevant w/ a topical med?) could she
breastfeed to avoid the peak? Could the child's serum levels be monitored at
some point as well? Hope a happy compromise can be reached.
