I have a slightly off -topic request so, instead of responding to the list, please respond to me directly at [log in to unmask]

I have not had a chance to read any pregnancy or birthing books in about 10 years so and am sorely out of date.  My DIL is expecting her first baby (and my first Grandchild) and has asked for recommendations for pregnancy and birthing preparation books.  She is a librarian and, therefore a voracious reader but as a first time mom, I don't want to overwhelm her either.

If you have particular recommendations for your relatives/clients, can you share with me what you like and why you like it?
