Sure, a blanching tongue tip can be a result of tongue-tie. It's 
generally a very severe one, and the baby is working so hard to elevate 
the tongue, he's cutting off circulation. I have a photo of such a 
situation.

BTW, I'm going nomail for a few months. I have a project that demands 
more of my time than I can give when I hang out with my 4000+ closest 
friends. Will miss you!
