I don't know if this is on-topic for this list or not, but I need to ask
someone who knows whether certain material violates the code. I hope it is
ok if I ask here.

A gf of mine signed up for a Mead Johnson promotion (as did I). They mailed
us information which supposedly informed women of their feeding choices.
You know, the usual formula propaganda masking as information.

However, she just got a survey in the mail on feeding choices. It is being
done by a marketing company and isn't sponsored by a formula company, but
the questions are clearly being asked on behalf of the formula industry as a
whole. Is this a violation??? It infuriates me, because the survey sounds
official, almost like it could be a gov't survey. It is called the
"National Infant Nutrition Survey".

Please email me at [log in to unmask]

Thanks,
Nancy Rupert
