A mom nursing her 15 mo old (who has mild dermatitis) was recently told by her
*dermatologist* that she should wean because her son's symtoms would probably
become worse if nursing continues. He has previously advised her to cut out
eggs, peanuts (and oil), and some other things from diet, though she has seen
no improvement with these actions. Any comments I can take directly to this
mom?--who really does not want to wean, but is feeling pressured that she
MIGHT be the cause of her child's problem? I know what the facts are, of
course; I would like to take her some direct quotes from "breastfeeding
professionals"-- which her dermatologist obviously is not.
