I was wondering what your professional opinions are as to what you would say
to a mom that really wants to nurse but has done this. Is there any other
research that states when this substance may be out of the milk? I read that
it
could show up in the mom's urine for 2-3 weeks and I am supposed to tell her
to
go ahead and breastfeed?

I've answered this question before with the facts of exactly what you just
said from Jack Newman's book, then followed it up with "this is an illegal act
and if caught, you will be arrested. If your child will be tested and if
found with the substance in their bodies, child protective services can become
involved. You might want to rethink doing this until after the baby is weaned."
I have wondered what my obligation as a care provider to report is, though.
