Someone once pointed out -- maybe here on Lactnet?? -- that mothers who
breastfeed long term (over a year) generally refer to "nursing" their babies
-- "I nursed him for 2 1/2 years" vs. mothers who breastfeed less than that,
"I breastfed him for 3 months."  There is definitely a difference between
moms who are breastfeeding and look at it primarily as a food source, and
moms who are nursing who look beyond that at the nurturing aspect of it.
