Good evening,

Have a question Re: Parkinson's in a newborn.
I would like information on Parkinsons in the newborn and how that would
affect BF. Is BF contraindicated in this situation, or is it preferred.

I have a situation with little info. All I know is that a mom had a baby who
has been diagnosed with Parkinsons, is one week old and has jaundice (no bili
levels known). She has been told that she should NOT BF and should use ABM.
As soon as I get more info on this case I will fill you in. I had no idea
that babies could even have Parkinsons. So I am stumped.

TIA!
Jay
