Lana,
Babies can be sensitive to a lot of things other than dairy. I would want the
mom to do a 24-48 hour dietary recall. Then I would look at what kinds, and in
what quantities the foods are that she is taking. Is she a heavy consumer of
soy? What about wheat, corn, onions, potatoes, carrots, bananas, peas? What about
food additives such as preservatives and colorings such as tartrazine(Yellow
Dye #5)? There are many other possibilities.
I can't imagine that this baby will continue to do well on Nut.......n formula
or on any other formula. I've never heard of a baby reacting to mother's milk
protein, only the protein in the milk of other mammals.
Good luck,
Nola
