Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

A client of mine had her baby's tongue tie treated by a highly recommended
doctor. I went back for a follow up visit a few weeks later because
breastfeeding still hurts and takes a long time. I found that the tongue is
still tied or perhaps retied. The mother decided to go back to have the
tongue redone and will be more consistent about lifting the tongue
afterwards. The doctor however insists that most of the time the problem
gets worse after the second frenotomy. This has not been my experience but
the mother is very nervous. I told her that I would ask you all for your
opinions and experiences. Her appointment is this evening (Israel time), so
please answer as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance,
Chayn Fogelman IBCLC Israel
