My concern is the opposite. Perhaps the nanny is a professional sleep-trainer. There are many who hire themselves out to new mothers to stay in their home for 1-2 months to teach mothers how to care for their babies.  She could be the source instead of the solution.
More information needed about her. I'm sure you know her name but don't share it on this list. 
Just do your own basic computer search to find out what may be public knowledge about her.
Hope it comes out to your liking. If not, you may have to mention her in your followup report to the Pedi.
