as someone who had that happen to her, no, I was
absolutely NOT relieved that my baby was nursing.  I
didnt' like it.  I felt violated and still do, 13 mos
later.  I had a homebirth and a reluctant nurser.  I
had a very nice midwife who handled the birth and
everything else wonderfully, but I absolutely hated
that she marred my early hours of my baby boy's life
by doing that to us.

I hadn't realised how strong it still was, but I feel
ill just thinking about it.  She didnt' ask my
permission and I didnt' feel it was necessary.
