Kathy-
In 24 years as a leader I generally have had a policy of speaking
only to the woman directly. From time to time I have had a husband/father
call and I tell them quite honestly that I need to speak to his s/o.
Generally I get another call very soon. There are some strange men who
call about lactation who are interested in rather unusual aspects of
breastfeeding. When I explain this to those men who are genuinely trying
to help they understand. The others I really do not worry about.
