Dear Lactnetters:

Does anyone out there know anything about the following herbal mixtures?

"CytoPro" high potency Antioxidants (Contains: Proanthocyanidins (from Grape
seed extract, Cruciferous vegetable concentrate(>1% of Sulforaphane),
Curcumin extract, Grape seed extract (25% Anthocyanins), Green Tea Extract
(25% Catechins), Polygonum Multiflorum extract, Quercetin, Schizandra
extract, Soy extract(1% Isoflavones), Tomato Concentrate (1% Lycopenes),
Ginkgo Biloba extract (24% Ginkgolides)

"Balanced Woman" Master formula (Contains: Dong Quai root, Red Raspberry
leaf, Vitamin B6, Black Cohosh Root, Magnesium, Iron, Licorice Root, Boron,
Silica, Chloride, plus a "superior Grade three treasures chinese herbal
complex" of Tang Kuei, Buplerum, Peonia Alba, Rehmania (cooked), Astragalus,
Ligusticum Wallium, and Albizzia Bark. Also contains: Diatom Silica, Calcium
Citrate and Wild Yam Root.)

We have a dad who wants the new mom to use these and she is breastfeeding.
She refuses to take anything without assurance from a reputable source that
they are safe for the baby. Her baby was delivered 4 weeks early since she
needed treatment for kidney stones. Baby is healthy now and was just
discharged today.

Please e-mail me with any information you may have that will be beneficial to
this family.
