Hi
To update those that helped me with my questions regarding supply/SWG,
etc. baby. I went with the Mom to her next weight check/LC appointment.
Baby was up another few ounces, looking good.
I had my info "ready" to challenge the various points/ questions about
information I'd heard the Mom telling me she was being told. Lesson of the
year: Get your info from the source, and if there is a question, go back to
the source!
It was a great appointment! Mom got lots of good support. We worked as a
team to come up with the next steps...
I had a great time working with them and the Mom went home with a plan to
get off the supplement in the next few weeks-- very positive. Very
supportive.

Now: any helpful hints for weaning a baby off the SNS who is very attached
to the flow/instant milk aspect? or is Time the key? Dr. Jack's info pages
reminded me that some babies just "get it" (it being latching) bw 4-6 weeks
old... baby is 4 weeks today, let's think positive latch thoughts for this
couplet could we???

 aLLLways,
anne
