Rachel, the mother specifically asked about fish oil, and didn't have an
objection to the capsule form. As regards environmental toxins, the brand
she mentioned is a reliable one - I use it myself. It comes in various
doses, and I thought the 1500 mg dose was a bit high to start with. Can
anyone recommend a starting dose and a maintenance dose?

Virginia Thorley asks about dosage for fish oil capsules to provide omega-3
fatty acids. But since the person in question is a lacto-vegetarian might
she not find the capsules objectionable too?
The dose is usually on the label. She should at least make sure the product
she uses is not full of environmental toxins which are present in high
concentrations in fish oil unless they are removed in processing.
