B Vitamins (folic acid is one of 8) are water soluble. If mom's milk picked
up extra the baby would pee out what he doesn't need. They don't last long
in the body and need to be replenished frequently.

Are they sure she needs 4 mg? Hale says doses > 1mg/day aren't recommended.
Is this a case of " if 1 mg will work, we'll use 4 mg to be sure"? Maybe Dr
Hale or Dr Nice could elaborate. If you get a better answer, be sure and
share it :-) Pat in SNJ
