I'm with you here, Lynn. In addition to painful conditions that might 
cause the baby to want to suck for comfort, I would also be interested 
in this baby's suck:swallow:breathe coordination. I'm seeing a subset of 
thriving tt babies with alterations in their suck:swallow coordination 
who are growing very fast and are miserable. So far, frenotomy has fixed 
the coordination problem and the growth stabilizes and the babies calm 
down, some faster than others.

Too bad the parents don't want to see you. Sigh.
