Prenatal diagnoses of hydronephrosis are very often not there at birth.
Although it is good to prepare yourself with a plan if it exists when the
baby is born, don't consider it a sure-thing diagnosis.  In my experience in
the birthing unit of a hospital, it is uncommon at birth even when the
ultrasound has indicated a potential problem.
