Thanks for the suggestion... I have had problems with hypoglycemia in
the past (and borderline gestational diabetes, so I pay attention).
Naturopaths suggest hypoglycemia is linked to low thyroid function and
low blood pressure. Adding proteins (small quantities throughout the
day) and what Chinese medecine defines as warming foods can help
regulate these things. (See, I know all this, I just don't always have
time to snack.
Did you know mothers of fraternal twins (naturally occuring, that is, we
don't really know about the others) tend to have a) shorter cycles and
b) earlier menopause? I read it in the literature when I was doing
research on BF multiples. Some connection with the amount of hormones
circulating, but more closely connected to the release of two eggs in a
cycle. I figure I'll run out soon.
