My son sleeps on his tummy a lot--starting at less than a month old.   He
has great neck strength, so I was comfortable with it.  He slept much better
than my first because I wasn't so paranoid about it.

Personally, I think the Back to Sleep research should be revisited--though I
don't know much about it.
