I hung up the new Ad Council's posters on my office door and in our OB unit
last week (they are on http://www.adcouncil.org/campaigns/breastfeeding/). I
received one note from a staff RN who thought they were obscene and
un-nurturing. I told her the idea behind it and she hadn't really read the
fine print, but even after that she still thought the idea ridiculous.

Then this AM I found the poster with the ice cream missing from my office
door and so I put up another one. Now not even 5 minutes later as I am
writing this I hear other staff from other units going by saying they think
they are disgusting. Granted I work in a conservative hospital but am
wondering how do I handle this-do I keep replacing the posters or put up
CONSERVATIVE, SAME OLD STUFF ones?
Next question-how are staff in your areas receiving this? Given this, I am
wondering how the bull riding and log rolling is going to go? Mary Ann RN,
IBCLC in central WI
