Hi Cathy,

Speaking with my medical technologist hat on ....

Basically you need a procedure for maintaining the centrifuge and certifying
that the speed is accurate. You might want to speak with a lab supervisor
about this, as well as your biomed department.

Also you need to experiment with your centrifuge to find the setting, time
and speed, that will give you the results you are looking for and then write
the procedure up.  It's not really that difficult.
