     If I understand correctly she has a benign tumor ....

     Why the rush to remove?

     the textbook of breast disease    by john isaacs.. mentions that they
are softerduring lactation.... he also describes them as secreting a fluid
but does not mention this as harmful.

      I can not think of any reasons why she should not bf on the other
breast....hormone levels are going to change in the course of lactation...
