I am so bummed! We are also dealing with a short gut premie and after
repeated problems with all formulas ( mom stopped breastfeeding despite
recommendations) my super-great neonatologist let us begin using donor
milk...bummed because the baby is not having sucess with this also right
now.  Keep fingers crossed- we're still going to trial it for a while
longer and see if the gut settles. Fingers crossed times three - this is
the first time for my facility to use donor milk and I hope not only for
this baby but for possible future babies this will be sucessful.
