I would be interested in finding out about this if it comes to my area.
I did once attend a formula company sponsored dinner. Come to think of it
Ive been to two.
One was about the research behind their formula. The speaker said he was
feed that companies formula as an infant. When asked why he wasn't breastfed
he said he thinks it was b/c his mother had mastitis. To which many in the
audience said he then should have been breastfed.
The other was about gastroenteritis, speaker was a peds GI specialist. I
took some sarcastic heat from nursery nurses for going being the BF advocate
I am so I told them I do have formula fed patients who will get
gastroenteritis so I need to know about it.
