Dear Friends:
    I don't know why it is that boys are generally weaker. More are
miscarried, and they die sooner than women. They seem to be genetically inferior to
women in terms of survival. When born prematurely, they don't do as well as
girls. Perhaps it is because females gestate and nourish the young, so they have to
be tougher for the species to survive?
