  Did they take your name off the study?
Do you know where they are submitting it for publication?
Unfortunately, they will probably  have the article accepted somewhere.
It's not hard to get bad research published.
It's not even clear that this is bad research, just a bad write up.
Seems to me that if you left out the part about Lucas' research, which
is highly suspect anyway, then you can just report the findings about
fat content, even put a positive spin on it. Bfing at 1 year does
provide nutritional benefit and all babies need fat in their diets,
what better way to get them that fat they need than from mom herself.
Which is more important to the authors, your IBCLC on the article or
Lucas' research, seems like a no-brainer to me, but what do I know?
