What follows is one of the bullet-point recommendations in the AAP SIDS &
Pacifier use article.

"Avoid commercial devices marketed to reduce the risk of SIDS:
Although various devices have been developed to maintain sleep position
or reduce the risk of rebreathing, none have been tested sufficiently to
show efficacy or safety. "

Aren't they now recommending another marketed commercial device (the
pacifier) to reduce SIDS? Many others here have already pointed out the
other logic flaws in AAP's recommendation so I need not be redundant.
