I can share my personal experience, don't know how useful it will be to you
as it is anecdotal.  My second son developed eczema on his face at about 18
months.  A friend mentioned it to her allergist and he said it sounded like
a soy allergy.  We cut out all soy products and it cleared up.  Now as a
teen my son is able to tolerate soy oil, but not soy protein.
