Hi All,
Well it turns out that my client does indeed have Lupus. So, now we have
more research to do. Could Lupus have an effect on the milk supply (remember
it is very low)?
I talkd to a colleague who suggested a link between "thick" blood and low
milk, and that thinning the blood would help with the milk supply. This
seems to be what is happening with this particular mom. Anyone know how this
link would be described or if it is in fact a true link and not just a
coincidence? Also suggested was for mom to take one baby aspirin a day to
help thin the blood. Any research/literature out there on this? Mom is open
to all ideas.
Mardrey suggested possible stress; Yeah, stress might be a factor, but to
this extreme? Also, mom has been more relaxed than ever with this 2nd baby
and all the happenings since his birth. (you want to talk stressed out, you
should have seen her with baby #1! WHat a mess! She stressed ME out!) She
has been very easygoing and realistic about all that has happened, and while
I know she is stressed, she is not nearly in the state she was in with baby
#1.
BTW, each time mom has baby, he BF like a champ! Even tho he is only with
her once a day, he still knows what to do! Great kid.
TIA for all help involving this situation. This client is also a friend and
was my very first private client over a year ago. She has a special place in
my heart. :)

Take care!
Jay
