Hey all,
Good news. The mom called me today to say that she had time to think about my offer, and is interested in going for the SNS.  I was happily able to tell her of all the input that I received from all of you and she was very encouraged. The MD at the hospital where she goes for checkups agreed to allow her to be a bit more proactive in stimulating and increasing her supply. I gave her the option that Nancy mentioned of giving 3 feeds of neosure and the rest breast and she is coming in on Thursday. I mentioned to her that it would be beneficial to work on getting rid of the shield and she is quite keen.
I was so worried that I came across too strong and had my doubts whether she would call back.
But here you go, - I gave her lots of compliments and credit for coming so far. And am looking very forward to meeting her on Thursday. I am happy that the MD, whose name I am familiar with, has come through. Who knows, we may end up even speaking on the phone one day!
