Barbara,

Your words have spoken about an issue that has been in my mind and heart for
a while now. I don't think I've mentioned it here, but one of the things I
am working on is organizing a group of women who have time, money, and
desire to form the National Mothers Rights Council, which will focus on
issues such as maternity services and workplace protection and support. If
anyone here has the time, money or desire to help with this enormous
undertaking PLEASE let me know.

I have a few thoughts about the direction of the organization, but nothing
is set in stone. I have just incorporated The Maternal Voice, which I think
will be the lobbying and advocacy arm of the organization and will publish a
magazine.

I would love your support.
