I had a mother complain that after her milk sat in the fridge for a day
or longer that it tasted "soapy". Could this be her milk spoiling? I am
not aware of any reason for this taste. Of course I was never one to
taste my own milk!

i think this is a common description for the breaking down of (excessive?)
lipase. i'm sure someone else knows specifically what she can do if the
smell/taste is bothering the baby, but if i recall correctly it involves
heating/scalding the milk before storage.
"bobo, what are you doing to deedle?"
"pankin him butt, mumma"
"bobo, we don't spank in this house"
"ony pank him outside, mumma?"
