Thought you all might get a kick out of this story that my neighbor, who is
an old time yankee dairy farmer told me. She is a wild woman who breastfed
her 3 kids, despite the crazy things hospitals did to nursing moms 50 years
ago. She said her pediatrican could go either way on breastfeeding but was
convinced that cow colostrum was the best thing for newborns. She used to
sell him her cow colosrtum for his patients to use. . .
