I am a Medical Technologist MT (ASCP) and have worked in clinical
microbiology, hematology and chemistry

 I hope
that I may be able to share some knowledge about how clinical lab work,
results or assays sometimes impact on lactation.
WELCOME MARGE,
Your entry is very well timed.
One of my mothers (almost due) has low Hb,
low RBC, low ferritin, high hematocrit, (throughout preg.)
She has been taking floradix, multi vitamins, liver powder,
chlorophyll, and eating red meats. (ALL of the above self-
prescribed) Now she has diagnosed her anaemia as Vit B6
deficiency anaemia. I know nothing about this.
By the way this Mum is nursing a 16 month old toddler,
and plans to tandem nurse.
Do you have any wisdom for me , please.
                                                       Mary, RM, IBCLC, but
                                                       out of my depth, again.
