I hear from Tom Hale he forgot about the June conference, and that you
thought he was too expensive.  If I may be very indiscreet, how did he
ask?

I got a letter from the ROM when I got home.  They feel very bad, and
feel I was right.  Of course, it is exactly the same letter Ruth
received by email.

Finally, I really am sorry for forgetting.  I didn't realize the 16th
was upon us.
