Melissa, Your idea of a list of abbreviations is GREAT! I still
remember when I was working as a hospital floor secretary during
college (about 100 yrs ago), how startled I was to read in a
patient's chart that he was SOB on admission. I was downright
relieved when a nurse explained that he was Short Of Breath - and
