Did anyone participate in the USLCA sponsored introductory webinar last week about this service being put together by Google for IBCLCs among other HCPs (e.g. physicians, dieticians) to offer lactation services via video? If so what's your take and what scope of practice do you think could be offered this way? The presenter pointed out that the service is secure and HIPA compliant, and any providers who apply will have to be approved by Google before posting, once that happens providers will have access to potential clients nationwide.
