I have to agree with Magda and think that it is an important issue to
consider. How are we perceived by those who need our services and also the
international community when we mix our profession with the selling of products?
Truly, this is a mix of causes?

Does it raise or lower our standards? I would question the professionalism
of my health care provider, if I knew that the drug he prescribed to me, also
gave him a profit. The same could be said about my car mechanic, if he sold
brakes and diagnosed my car problem as a brake problem. The professional/expert
could very well be correct and the product he/she sells the correct approach.
Yet, there is an unease about this kind of partnership among many people. I,
for one, think people should choose whether they are offering services or
products.
