So thinking about a sandwich:

Top palate
breast tissue
tube
tongue
bottom palate

Tube placement on the breast rotates according to the position of the baby.

Does that make more sense?

(I'm really tired of AOL 9.0's dreadful formatting, hence the stars.....)

That makes perfect sense -- is exactly what I described. Tube on top of the
tongue, but under the breast when everything is in the baby's mouth. It
suddenly dawned on me that what you meant by "under the tongue" was when the baby's
mouth is closed & the tube is being positioned....I think that's what you
meant. I was trying to visualize the tube *under the tongue* as in between the
lower palate and the bottom of the tongue, poking the baby somewhere in the
vicinity of the frenulum. And it just wasn't computing!!!

If I still have it wrong, I give up....
