I tend to use Winnie's idea of putting a stack of diapers out in the
morning and as long as the 8 (or 10, whatever) are gone by the next
morning, things are likely doing well. If Mom still seems uncomfortable
with this method, then I suggest writing voids, stools and feedings down
for 24 to 48 hours. Some people just have to see it on paper to believe
it. And, like Janet, I often tell the Mom that it's whatever works for
her that counts...if it doesn't make sense to her, throw the thing out
and just watch the baby!
