I give all my old T, Hale books to the doctors, both Peds and OB's. This way I hope they will use them and get used to having the info available and will buy new ones.

Any ideas on what to do with the older editions of Hales? I have several and

I just wanted to send out props to everyone working at - uh - the
busiest private maternity hospital in the US......up there near
400/285:) I can't imagine how frustrating your days must be dealing
with the misinfo from non-lc staff. It is truly, utterly mindboggling.

After I couldn't take another drop of it, I marched down to the
lactation center and there were three of you there to help. You took
precious moments out of your already overloaded day to hear and act. I
can't recall the names, but you all were wonderful. Thank you for
insuring that my client (labor support client) was seen today instead of
tomorrow. It made *difference* in a big way.

Now just to get that tight frenulum clipped and teach that short tongue
to nurse.....while working the rps angle to hopefully get this baby to
the breast soon.

To all of you who work in challenging environments where misinformation
is the norm and breastfeeding is portrayed as difficult and unlikely to
work - my hat goes off to you. Thank you. Thank you so so so much.

:)
