You are absolutely correct, of course. When I worked in a hospital, the OB
clinic staff was extremely resentful of *any* discussion of IQ as it related
to bf and told me I could not tell mothers about it (I refused, of course).
But it was that very same audience that Dr. Lucas made his comments to, and
it struck me at the time that perhaps depersonalizing it in that way made the
information more palatable to some. I personally find the way you presented
it very compelling!
