I always thought that draping a blanket or something like that, to 
breastfeed, was like making an announcement that you were going to 
breastfeed.  I just wore tops I could lift up, and very rarely felt like any 
passersby even noticed I was breastfeeding.  That is saying even more, in my 
case, since I am white and the three of my adopted kids that I nursed the 
most aren't, and I was using the lact-Aid much of the time, too.
